These sessions are designed for children with SEND. They will include sensory activities and a range of activities used within a sensory circuit. We provide an opportunity for parents to meet, chat and relax with some drink and cake!

Our full day Easter Camps are running Monday 7th April until Thursday 17th April! They start at 9am and finish at 4pm. Each day is fun filled with a range of science and expressive art and design to keep your child engaged and having fun all day long! Your child will need to bring a packed lunch with them to this session. **Please note we are a nut free setting. **

Our full day camps run every Monday- Thursday throughout half terms!

My daughter has had a wonderful time at the summer camps! She came out of the first one so happy and referred to the teachers as the lovely,  nice ladies. 
My daughter is SEN with a very complex medical condition and the teachers arranged a call with me, prior to my daughter attending, and also allowed her to visit the space, before her start day. Thrilled with our experience so far, thank you so much.

Our sensory classes for babies create an immersive and stimulating setting to enhance baby’s learning whilst also ensuring you and baby have lots of fun! Every activity is purposefully planned with a themed week to stimulate senses and encourage development. Parents, carers and even grandparents are welcome to bring along a child to engage in these interactive sessions which will include fantastic creative play activities, visual development, textures, scents and music to assist in developing early speech and language skills, imaginative play and physical development. We will also ensure we are providing lots of opportunities for photos to share these precious memories!

Drop In- Messy Monday

This offers new parents and parents-to-be a unique opportunity to learn short massage routines suitable for newborns. It offers a 1:1 session with advice and techniques to help with wind, colic and unsettled babies. We will also offer pregnancy relaxation tips plus general information on calming and connecting with your baby as you adjust to parenthood. At the end of the session, you will be given a personalised plan and advice pack to take home.

Colic Consultancy

 Starting school is a huge milestone for both you and your little person and we want to ensure you both feel prepared and confident before taking that step. Our school readiness programme has been personally designed by us as teachers with coverage stretching across the entire year prior to them starting reception. Children will participate in a range of carefully planned and prepared activities which will develop vital skills. Slowly building upon their confidence and knowledge, this course closely mirrors the seven main areas defined within the Early Years Framework, enabling your child to be more confident when exposed to such tasks.

Sessions throughout the course will be fun, relaxed and enjoyable for the child, allowing them to experience the expectations of a classroom setting, with their grown up, to ensure they are ready and excited to start school. In addition, adults will feel equipped with an understanding of what to expect: feeling confident and with a sound understanding of the Early Years Curriculum and knowledge of how to further support their child in their school journey.

These sessions are designed by Holly, our qualified SENCO, to support your child to use their senses to explore a range of engaging activities. We want you to come, relax and enjoy the sessions knowing that we are there to support both you and your child. We have a dedicated sensory area at our hub for all children to use and, alongside this, we will provide a range of different sensory activities each session. Drop in- Funky Finger Friday

Baby massage helps your baby to relax; this promotes better sleep and helps to soothe and calm your baby. The repetition of specific strokes and massage techniques fundamentally supports your child’s brain development. Baby massage helps to join vital neuro pathways which form your baby’s nervous system and this assists in the development of an array of things including their digestive system, brain function, blood flow and ridding the body of toxins. We equip parents with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to apply a range of massage techniques and strokes whilst also providing an opportunity to meet other parents and create a supportive network.

Our baby massage classes offer parents a safe space to enhance their bonding and attachment with their baby through a nurturing touch.

Drop in- We Can Write Wednesdays

As babies become older and begin to walk, many parents show an interest in continuing classes but are unsure of how to structure a massage as their child grows and becomes more physically developed. Our Learn, Stretch and Play course expands your baby massage practice using movement, music and rhyme. This course includes learning new massage techniques, enjoying yoga inspired stretches and exploring the benefits of sensory play activities centred on heuristic play.

Classes are informal, relaxed and flexible in structure. They are designed to meet all of baby’s developmental needs through touch, movement and music. They also aim to build your confidence interacting with your child and to provide the opportunity to meet other parents. New techniques learned can help to relieve tired aching muscles, which a child may have if they lead an active lifestyle and enjoy rushing around. It is particularly good for helping ease any discomfort from “growing pains” which can be recognised as aching arms and legs and is experienced by many pre-school children. Massage continues to help a child feel relaxed and can be incorporated into bedtime routines to aid relaxation and better sleep.

For those with babies moving beyond the crawling stage who are looking for a class which will incorporate massage, stretches and sensory play!
